Local & Foreign Outreach

We believe every church should have a significant global impact in world missions to help fulfill the great commission of Jesus to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” From it’s inception, Living Word Church has carried a vision for global impact through world missions. For example, we have always given at least 10% of our church’s income to outreach and world missions. We have also sent hundreds of ordinary people out into the world to do extraordinary things for God. Now Living Word Church is actively planting and building churches and ministries in many parts of the world.

Our Global Impact World Missions initiatives are focused primarily in some of the most unreached places in the world, including a previously unreached people group in Nepal, high desert native people in Mexico and cities and remote villages in Bolivia. In Nepal, we currently have 18 churches and we are presently planting 12 new churches. Our “20-20 Vision” is to have 100 churches among a people group who had never heard the gospel until we sent teams there in 1996. We have hundreds of churches connected with us in Mexico, Africa, Ukraine and many others around the world.

Following the teaching of Jesus in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”, we are focused on both local and international missions.

Beginning at home, we support local benevolence ministries like The Caring Place and Refuge Community Center, a community networking organization called Cleveland Net, Cleveland Children’s Ministry Network and New Hope Pregnancy Care Center. We also network with Evangel Fellowship International and International Ministries Network to multiply our resources for global impact.

We believe every local church is called to have a global impact through local and world missions. God has blessed us to reach many thousands of people around the world. With all our hearts, we are pursuing the fulfillment of the prophecy of our Lord Jesus,  “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
