Q. What are your services like?
A. Living Word Church is an Interdenominational Church. At each Living Word Church service you will find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a relevant message for today. Children are well cared for in a loving and fun-filled atmosphere. Nursery through 6th grade classes are provided at all services.
Q. What does "Interdenominational" mean?
A. We believe that there is much good and much to be gained in every Christ-exalting denomination. Our task is to glean from all of them, and to incorporate the best of the best into our church. We endeavor to be all inclusive, recognizing that the message of Jesus Christ is for "whosoever" will believe. We will help bring every person into their God-given destiny, without discrimination toward their denominational background. We recognize that unity is not unanimity or uniformity, and that the body of Christ is vast and diverse. We will not compromise our statements of faith or core values. Jesus Christ is the center of our church and our existence.
Q. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
A. If you are visiting us for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or single you out in a public way. We know that many people want to check out our church and be "anonymous" for a while---and that's fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
Q. What do I wear to attend your services?
A. You will find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our weekend services. Come in what is comfortable for you because Living Word Church is not about what you look like or what you wear. Our motto is “Come as you are, you’ll be loved.” And we mean it!
Q. What about my children?
A. At living Word Church, your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer dynamic children's ministries for nursery through Pre-K, and first through fifth grade. In our children's classes, the Bible will come alive through story telling, drama, arts and crafts, and games.
Q. How can I meet others and get connected?
A. There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by contacting our church office and sign up for a "Newcomers Fellowship Group" with the Pastor and his wife, where you will meet other people who attend our church. If you desire later to join Living Word Church, we also offer our Covenant meal where you will dine with other new members and our Pastor for a special dinner. Small Groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have an opportunity to grow in your faith.
Q. Why do you have Small Groups?
A. Small Groups are an important part of Living Word Church. In fact, you haven't fully experienced the church until you have experienced our Small Groups. These groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will deepen your relationship with God. As Living Word Church grows, Small Groups allow us to "stay small" and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests. There is bound to be one that is just right for you.
Q. How can I get involved in a Small Group?
A. One of the easiest things to do at Living Word Church is to participate in a Small Group. Groups meet throughout the surrounding areas and provide a place for Bible discussions, fellowship, various interests, and support. Contact our church office for more information
