Class Instructors

Christina Alexandersen grew up in White Georgia where she trained at Steps of Faith Dance Company in Cartersville Georgia, training under Theresa Shampine, Julie Reeves, and Ashleyanne Hensley. Christina began dancing when she was 4 years old and has danced with such programs as the Georgia Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Radio City Rockettes where she had the opportunity to perform at Radio City Music Hall. She has also had the opportunity to take dance onto the mission field to places such as Norway, Sweden, Trinidad, and she coordinated an arts mission trip to Spain in 2011. Christina became and instructor at the age of 15 teaching at Steps of Faith and went on to choreograph for churches around North Georgia and teach at conferences such as the Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers and the Mississippi Baptist Fine Arts conference. When Christina graduated from High school, she went on to study dance at Belhaven University in Jackson Mississippi. After 3 semesters, Christina suffered an injury that required surgery. She is now studying Anthropology at Lee University to further her goal of spreading the Love of Jesus through dance to the nations. She thanks God every day that she still has the ability to dance and to have the chance to pour into young striving artists.
